Façades, hoardings, building sites, scaffolding and events. We print the banner at whatever size you give us, with perimeter eyelets ready to hang, and ship it folded so the courier does not eat the savings.
Two materials
- 510 gsm frontlit The standard banner and the one most people order. Tough, opaque and cheap: façades, billboards, site hoardings, photocall backdrops and any large sign that lives outdoors.
- Microperforated mesh Tiny perforations let the air through, so it does not act like a sail. This is the one for scaffolding, rooftops and façades exposed to wind.
If the banner hangs high or somewhere windy, go straight for mesh: a large frontlit on an exposed façade takes a beating, and the fixings take more.
Finishing and sizes
- Perimeter eyelets The metal rings around the edge, for cable ties, rope or bungees. Included unless you tell us otherwise.
- Your size Give us width and height in centimetres and that is what we print. If you need a hem, a pole pocket or a specific reinforcement, ask before ordering.
Where it is used
How to prepare your file
- PDF at final size or to scale 1:1 if the size is manageable, or 1:10 if you say so. What matters is that the proportions are final.
- Keep clear of the edge Do not push text or logos to the border: that is where the eyelets and the fixings go.
- 150 dpi minimum At real size. A banner is read from a distance, but people walk up to it too.
- Text converted to outlines So the typography comes out exactly as you see it on screen.
Frequently asked questions
- Frontlit or mesh?
- Frontlit by default: more opaque, cheaper and it reads better. If there is wind — high façade, scaffolding, rooftop — go mesh, which lets air through and does not pull on the fixings.
- How is it hung?
- By the perimeter eyelets, tied with cable ties, rope or bungees to the frame, hoarding or scaffold. Pulled taut, never left slack.
- How does the banner arrive?
- Folded whenever the material allows. That is what avoids the oversize surcharge couriers apply, and the fold marks disappear once it is tensioned.
- Does it take sun and rain?
- Yes, both materials are outdoor grade. What kills a banner is rarely the water — it is wind plus a slack fixing.
