Three materials, three jobs
- Monomeric The cheap one. It does not like curves and is meant for indoors and short campaigns: sales, promotions, trade fairs, temporary signage.
- Polymeric More stable and longer lasting. This is the one for exposed outdoor work: shop windows, vehicle graphics, construction sites and anything that has to take sun and rain.
- Etched glass effect Mimics sandblasted glass. The classic for office partitions, glass doors and privacy bands, with or without a printed design.

Finishes
- Matt lamination No glare, readable in direct light and in brightly lit spaces. Protects the ink from scuffs and cleaning.
- Gloss lamination Deeper colour and a lively finish. The usual choice for vehicles and shop windows.
Lamination is optional, but on floors, vehicles and surfaces that get cleaned often it noticeably extends the life of the print.
Where it is used
How to prepare your file
- PDF at final size With the finished dimensions, at 1:1. If it is very large, 1:10 and say so clearly.
- Bleed and crop marks Leave a few millimetres of margin per side so the cut does not leave white edges.
- 150 dpi minimum Measured at real print size. Below that, large-format output looks pixelated up close.
- Text converted to outlines So we do not depend on having your font installed and it prints exactly as you see it.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does vinyl last outdoors?
- It depends on the material: monomeric is meant for indoors and short campaigns, polymeric for exposed outdoor use. Tell us how long it has to last and we will tell you which to order.
- Can I put it on a car?
- Yes, with polymeric. It conforms far better to the curves of the bodywork and takes the weather without lifting at the edges.
- How does the vinyl arrive?
- Rolled in a rigid cardboard tube, so it does not get crease marks or scratches in transit.
- Do you fit it?
- No: we print and ship. We work with sign fitters who do install, so if you need fitting, ask and we will point you somewhere.
